About Pam Childs
Pam Childs is a speaker, writer, biblical counselor, and former journalist who describes herself simply as a noticer. She helps women notice God where they might otherwise miss Him, sharing stories wrapped in Scripture that reveal His presence and perspective in the everyday moments of life.
Drawing from her own journey as a wife, mother, adoptive mother, Lolli, and cancer survivor, Pam brings a journalist’s eye for detail to the ordinary—and often overlooked—moments where God is at work. Her heart is to help women see their own stories through the lens of Scripture and discover what God may be teaching them right where they are.
Pam is also a contributing writer for Crossmap, a global Christian faith and news platform, where she writes monthly women’s devotionals. Through Pam Childs Ministries, her writing, videos, and speaking, she encourages women to become noticers themselves and to carry one simple question into everyday life:
“Lord, what are You teaching me?”
The Origin of This Ministry
A Seed Was Planted, Now This Ministry Has Bloomed
Years ago, I sat riveted at a ladies church conference, hanging on every word spoken by Marsha Spradlin. The Christian author vividly recounted how God transformed her life one winter season, and the holy process of that change deeply impacted me. I was challenged and stirred by her testimony.
Marsha is part of the reason I am writing to you. God used her to plant a seed for my own ministry, and by His grace, that seed has now bloomed!
In this season, instead of writing for newspapers and magazines, I will be using God’s Word, personal testimonies, and observations to creatively share Christ through my website. The site includes videos, audio clips, blog posts, written prayers, and I‘m available to personally share with women in large groups or small.
